It seems like ABS-CBN will be putting out a drama-comedy (dramedy!) called Nurse the Dead. It folklows the lives of Filipino healthcare workers in the United States. Now, I do hope they’re going to do a good job. There has been many Filipino nurse tv shows and movies and most of them didn’t really hit the nail on the head. This series though has a different twist.
It seems Nurse the Dead will be some sort of Ghost Whisperer meets Grey’s Anatomy. The tagline seems a bit awkward. Personally, I’d go with:
New Country, New Hospital, New Ghosts?
Short and impactful. Don’t mind me, I’m a failed writer. Mark Labella, though, has quite an extensive list of achievements. He will be the writer and director. Nurse the Dead has several powerhouses of Filipino showbiz such as Princess Punzalan and Ruby Rodriguez.
However, I’m more interested on who this guy is:
The salt and pepper beard has always been a weakness of mine.
Here’s to hoping that Nurse the Dead will be a big hit.
